A fast-growing organisation within the healthcare diagnostic sector is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their organisation. The organisation is a specialist leader in providing full cycle diagnostic products and tools to address the world's biggest health challenges.

About the role:

As Senior Legal Counsel you will be responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, direction and strategic partnership across a wide variety of legal and compliance matters across the EMEA business. You will partner more broadly with the EMEA leadership team and will be key in influencing informed decision-making at all levels.

Key responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating commercial and other transactions, including supply, services, sub-contracts, procurement and collaborations. Building and maintaining positive relationships with local leadership and other strategic partners. Identifying, monitoring and improving key processes and internal controls. As well as ensuring compliance with the company's governance and policies.

About you:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 PQE, having trained either in a top UK law firm or in-house. Ideally you have experience of working in a commercial in-house environment. Previous experience gained in the medical devices, biopharma or life sciences sector would be highly advantageous. Experience of working on multi-jurisdictional matters with a geographically dispersed teams would be positive. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast-paced, complex and high performing environment.
