Job overview

The Integrated Access Partnership (IAP) is an innovative service that provides urgent and emergency mental health care. We operate across 999, 111 and urgent community services to offer urgent and emergency, integrated physical and mental health support 24/7.

The IAP comprises a multidisciplinary team of registered and non-registered professionals, who work in rotation across our services, providing both remote and face-to-face mental health triage, assessment and care for patients, as well as clinical support and advice to emergency service professionals. We work tirelessly to get each patient the right care at the right time, providing a seamless, coordinated response that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

The IAP is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our award-winning mental health service as a Senior Associate Practitioner.



Main duties of the job

Senior Associate Practitioner's will provide:

  • Complex mental state assessments
  • Complex clinical risk assessments
  • Complex clinical formulations
  • A range of recovery focussed interventions
  • Validation and de-escalation of people in mental health crisis
  • Distress tolerance and emotional regulation coaching techniques
  • Empowerment of persons in crisis, carers and families as a means of managing situations effectively
  • Supervision and support to associate practitioners with guidance from senior colleagues
