New - we are actively seeking an ambitious Corporate Associate (2 PQE+) to join a highly regarded Legal 100 firm in Cheltenham.

This is a Chambers-rated top-tier corporate practice which offers excellent exposure to an impressive array of both regional, city and international clients.

You can expect to join the team working on sales, acquisitions, charitable mergers and collaborations of independent schools and other associated corporate matters.

We would like to speak with ambitious individuals who can demonstrate the following:

  • 2 – 4 years PQE
  • A solid grounding in corporate work is essential, some experience of working in education and/or charity law is desirable but not a requirement
  • An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
  • To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
  • To have strong commercial acumen
  • To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail

    Skills / Experience Required

    You will have between 2 and 4 years' PQE and relevant corporate law experience gained with a recognised regional or London commercial firm.

    A proven track record or keen interest in business development and client relationship management is highly desirable as is a commercial approach.

    The ideal individual will have trained with a recognised city, or regional, practice and be capable of demonstrating a consistently strong academic record.

    An excellent knowledge of transactional processes is required and this opportunity requires excellent IT/keyboard skills, planning and organisational skills as well as a flexible and positive attitude to your work.
