Essential Job Functions:

The Customer Technical Compliance Manager is responsible for the support of a successful development and execution of a technical compliance program.This key sales solutions & engineering team member will support Vantages and Clients needs in terms of the technical compliance process. A strategic problem solver and specialist at tactical execution with ideally strong communication and presentation skills across the spectrum of Vantage various teams. Experience with wholesale data centers, colocation, interconnection, cloud, managed solutions and professional services preferred otherwise experience within critical environments like nuclear plants, hospitals, submarines would be desired.

Duties:

  • Setting and continuously improving the technical compliance processes.
  • Tracking and developing design compliance statements, reviewing templates incorporating Vantage's latest schematics, diagrams, and features.
  • Developing certain technical support for the sales & solutions engineering team
  • Working with client requirements regarding review and closure of compliance checks; coordinate responses on compliance queries among VDC internal stake holder.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the DIPs process of all developments across EMEA by collaborating with the development delivery and design engineering team.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to Solutions Engineering by building and growing the role to meet the needs of VDC and its customers.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly report extracts for reporting on progress of the program, capture lesson learnt and educate team on new deliveries.
  • Develop solutions which demonstrate time reduction and improvements on compliance reviews.
  • Engage in detailed compliance assessment of customer's currentand proposed IT environments.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Experience in designing critical infrastructure or Data centers will be strongly preferred.
  • Excellent power point presentation skills and a feeling for aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with and present information to the team and the customers (especially in remote team set-up).
  • Orientation to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Inquisitive mindset.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving ability.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships effectively.
  • Drive for continuous improvement.
