Accounting Supervisor

Position Overview:
As the Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of all accounting records for our European and Saudi Arabian offices. Working closely with the Accounting Manager - Europe and the Tax Supervisor - Europe, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of entity accounts.
Key
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review statutory financial statements, audits, and respond to queries from external advisers.Review revenue and balance sheet reconciliations, and correct discrepancies.Prepare journal entries and coordinate with various teams to ensure accurate GL coding.Lead and participate in complex accounting projects and initiatives.Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and support HMRC initiatives such as Making Tax Digital and the Construction Industry Scheme.Streamline and enhance departmental processes and handle ad-hoc assignments.Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven and progressive experience.Experience in a large global law firm is desirable.Strong knowledge of European and Cross Border tax.Demonstrated high level of diplomacy, confidentiality, and excellent judgment.Advanced proficiency in Excel.If the above sounds of interest and you feel you have the relevant experience and approach to succeed within a role of this nature, please either apply now or contact Balance Recruitment directly for more info.
