The post is offered as full-time with flexibility on hybrid work (4 days a week working from home, 1 day a week from the office).

The role sits within Plan UK's Humanitarian Unit, operating across the whole spectrum of disaster work from anticipatory action, risk reduction, and first response through to recovery.

The purpose of this role is to lead and oversee a regional portfolio team with a focus on West and Central Africa, the Middle East and Central and Latin America.

The post holder will provide strategic and operational guidance and leadership to team members as they collaborate with colleagues in the regions to develop, fund and implement programmes.

In line with the focus portfolio Spanish and/or Arabic language skills are also an advantage.
