Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Humanitarian Programme Lead to join our team at Jellyfish Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and managing programmes that support relief efforts, ensuring that all interventions are sustainable, impactful, and aligned with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction: Shape the strategic direction in response to international disasters, focusing on impactful interventions.
- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective partnerships with organizations across international regions.
- Programme Management: Build and manage programmes supporting relief and recovery, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
- Representation: Represent the organization within the international humanitarian sector, advocating for alignment with global standards and innovations.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and support humanitarian projects through international travel.
About You:
- Experience: Strong experience in the humanitarian sector with proven leadership in disaster response.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of international humanitarian policies and practices.
- Partnership Development: Proven experience in developing and managing partnerships with international/local agencies.
- Project Management: Ability to manage all aspects of the project cycle, including programme design, monitoring, and impact evaluation.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to undertake international travel as needed.
