As an Assistant Brands Buyer you will be working with our luxury partners including, Selfridges, Harrods, Liberty and Brown Thomas and supporting the greater buying team across over 200 brands in some of the largest footwear departments in the world
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:
Support the Buyer by contributing to decisions on building the seasonal product ranges across brand portfolio Work alongside the Buyer and Merchandise Team in the preparation of seasonal reviews and strategic seasonal planning Support and assist the Buyer in defining the customer, market and trend focused seasonal collections Be aware of market movements, competitor activity & current and forthcoming fashion trends Actively research and propose new brand opportunities to optimise the existing portfolio and potentialise sales performance Manage relationships with host stores and brand partners Have regular correspondence with suppliers in regards to order confirmations to ensure timely deliveries and be solution orientated when issues occur Support negotiations & work closely with brand partners to ensure prices and margins are accurate Work proactively with merchandising to take appropriate action on in-season opportunities with repeats, cancellations & rescheduling of orders Build cross-functional team relationships in order to confidently communicate information regarding deliveries, exclusives, product launches etc to wider team Management of the Buying Admin Assistant. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
