Data Migration Consultant required for 9 months contract, outside IR35, from £400 - £480 per day.
The role is remote, however you must be willing to commute to London (infrequently) at your own cost.
The project is to move the data from a legacy application to a SAP application.

Skills Required:
Prior experience in a similar roleIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server- being able to write SQL code and queriesProactive hands-on delivery approachSolid understanding of database structuresAble to work under tight schedules and on multiple tasksStrong understanding of data conversion work processes and deliverablesComprehensive analytical skills and the ability to formulate client-specific solutionsExpereince of SAP desireable

Responsibilities:
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data migration on behalf of the project delivery teamCollaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to develop a data migration approach and strategyDevelop and implement the data migration approach and planReport to the appropriate accountable stakeholders and boards on progress delivering regular status reports and presentations on data qualityInvestigate and identify risks to the successful delivery of the project resulting from data and the data migration approachInterrogate SQL and SAP data in the preparation of a data assessment including assessing the completeness, accuracy and quality of dataPerform research and analysis on data to ensure clear decisions can be made on how data should be treatedEngage with data compliance, data owners and data stewards to facilitate the project's compliance with legal and industry standards for data managementQuality Assurance activities within Data Migration deliverables to ensure all relevant checks and balances are adhered toReview and make recommendations to improve the data migration process using industry best practice experienceDeveloping migration scripts from source databases and produce output extracts for destination systemsFacilitate, conduct and document the data discovery, data mapping and data analysis sessionsAttending all meetings to provide expertise in determining the appropriate conversion strategy and project scopePlease send your CV in word format for the attention of ALISON CALDER
