The opportunity:

You will support the 'Transforming Friendship-Focussed Support for Care Experienced People through Co-Creation' project team in all aspects of the project including: undertaking a literature review, supporting delivery of training for co-researchers, supporting community of practice meetings, supporting running of workshops to develop the framework and materials and disseminating findings and outputs, to co-create a framework for friendship support for care experienced people that will be rolled out nationally.

This post is open fixed term for 12 months from 1st September 2024.

This post is advertised as guaranteed hours, for a minimum of 168 hours, and we are open to considering hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of off-campus and regular on-campus working.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Degree in social work, sociology, psychology or other allied subject (Desirable).
  • Experience of working collaboratively with experts by experience (Desirable).
  • A proven ability to review and summarise academic literature.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing, to a range of different groups.

£32,805 to £32,982 per annum (pro-rata) (Grade 6)
