We are seeking a highly skilled Research Contracts Officer to join our Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) team at Edinburgh Napier University Careers. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the University's Research and Innovation Strategy.

The RIE team supports the full research journey and research planning process, from helping academics with finding funding and writing proposals, through to assisting researchers in managing their projects and communicating their research results and impact. Contract support is a vital part of the team's activities, essential to protecting the university's position, facilitating research activities, and maximising opportunities arising from them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide contract management support to researchers and academics
  • Assist in the development and implementation of research contracts
  • Collaborate with the RIE team to ensure effective contract management
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to contract management
