The sole purpose of Birmingham Children Trust is to make a positive difference for children, young people and families in the city, by driving up the quality of practice and partnerships across the city and its services.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with children in the Youth Justice system promptly and without unnecessary delay.
  • Helping children with the consequences of their offending, for their victim(s), for themselves, their families and their communities.
  • Deliver a range of interventions which tackle the factors which place a child at risk of offending.
  • Build effective local strategies to reduce crime by children by working collaboratively with partner agencies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified as a Social worker.
  • Registered to Social Work England.
  • Experience as Team Officer, Youth Offending Service for Minimum of 1 year.
  • 5 Years worth of references + Valid RTW.
  • Passionate about the job.
