Focussing on Microsoft Technologies and Network Infrastructure Support so recent hands on experience with the following are essential:
  • Windows Server Administration
  • (Managing and maintaining server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows servers)
VMware Virtualisation - deployment, management, performance optimisation
Networking - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, Network configuration and Troubleshooting
Azure Cloud - Provisioning and managing virtual machines, storage networking
Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Support
Security best practice - ISO, SOC, Cyber Essentials etc
ITIL familiar
Dealing with escalations from the 1st line
