Ribbons & Reeves are recruiting for a rewarding Mental Health Support Assistant role where the successful applicant will be supporting pupils in an all-through school based in Barking who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

Mental Health Support Assistant | Job summary:
Working with children who have SEMH needs across different year groups who require additional help and support.Implement agreed work programmes to ensure the correct support is given.Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development.Mental Health Support Assistant | Job requirements:
Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree (ideally in Psychology) from a Top 30 UK University.Previous experience working with children within a school setting.Aspirations to become a Psychologist/Therapist.Strong communication skills and patience.As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you can expect hands-on training as well as consistent support throughout the academic year from SEND specialists from around the school.
