We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Mental Health Service in Ealing. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Build trusting relationships with young people and create a positive atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with other team members to manage the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conduct key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
- Assess and manage risks in collaboration with young people, promoting a positive risk-taking approach
- Provide support with daily living activities, including practical assistance for independent living
- Support young people to maintain a healthy environment and assist with cleaning and personal hygiene
- Record and report customer incidents
- Ability to advocate for young people in different professional and community settings
- Values working collaboratively with young people to ensure the service meets their needs
- Understanding of people's contexts and how it may impact their lives and mental health
