We are working with an established Steel stockholder company based in Dudley. They are recruiting for an operations Manager to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of 50,000 with a profit share in the business along with the opportunity and additional training and development to become a director

The Operations Manager needs to possess a strong hands-on background in leading teams to ensure that production targets are hit/exceeded but also have an engineering / improvement mindset to implement improvement to processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Sales and Production teams to ensure targets are hit / exceeded
  • A good understanding of QHSE standards
  • Maintaining a safe and well organised production department
  • Working closely with Senior Managers and the Managing Director

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Management
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Experience working for a steel stockholder
