About Our Client

A global multinational manufacturing group and a true market leader in their specialist sector are looking to recruit a Vice President of Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain to oversee and optimise their sites across the UK and EMEA region.

Job Description

Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the operations and supply chain functions throughout all manufacturing facilities and supply chain operations across the EMEA region.Provide leadership to the operations and supply chain teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence. Drive operational excellence by optimising manufacturing process, improving productivity and reducing costs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Develop and execute the operations and supply chain strategy in alignment with the companies growth plans. Lead lean initiatives and operational transformations to drive continuous improvement. Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management and distribution to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency. Establish and maintain quality assurance standards and best practices for quality and safety.Build and develop high performing operations and supply chain teams. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and supply chain activities. The Successful Applicant Strategic thinker with a proven track record in multi-site operations, supply chain optimisation and leadership.Transformation strategy development experience with proven ability to drive performance improvement initiatives. Demonstrable leadership experience and technical skills implementing Lean tools within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and people management skills working in matrix led environments with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Home based with the ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and EMEA region. What's on Offer
