Position Overview:

The Vice President of Technology will be instrumental in defining the technological vision of the organization. As a key member of the executive leadership team, this role will significantly impact the organization's technology strategies and operational frameworks. The ideal candidate will oversee all technology infrastructures and requirements, enforce comprehensive cyber security protocols, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing operational efficiencies. This position calls for a forward-thinking leader capable of fostering technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy and Leadership:

Formulate and execute the organization's technology strategy in alignment with overarching business objectives.

Provide guidance and oversight for all technology-related initiatives and projects.

Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate technological solutions that bolster overall business performance.

Technical Management:

Supervise the management of all technology infrastructures and systems.

Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the organization's technological frameworks.

Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to enhance business operations and efficiencies.

Cyber Security:

Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy to protect the organization's data and systems.

Establish and manage security protocols, policies, and procedures.

Stay informed about emerging cyber security threats and ensure proactive measures are in place.

Operational Efficiency:

Identify and deploy technological solutions to optimize operations and improve productivity.

Conduct regular assessments of technology systems and processes to identify areas for enhancement.

Lead initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency through innovative technology solutions.

Team Leadership and Development:

Build and nurture a high-performing technology team.

Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology division.

Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their technology needs and deliver effective solutions.

Represent the organization in technology-related discussions and negotiations with partners, vendors, and industry groups.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Vice President of Technology or in a similar senior technology leadership role, preferably within the non-profit or auditing sectors.

Strong understanding of various technology infrastructures and the ability to manage complex technology environments.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing cyber security strategies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions.

Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

A strategic mindset with the ability to drive technological change and operational efficiencies.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
