Do you have excellent video editing skills alongside a passion for game capture?

We're looking for a Junior Video Editor/Capture Artist to join our fast-paced creative services team, primarily focusing on producing video assets across Product and Digital Marketing.

You will be working with highly creative and talented individuals on the Jagex Video team to concept, capture, edit and version both new and existing video content across all games in the Jagex portfolio. You will be producing assets for a wide range of social and marketing platforms, including YouTube, Instagram stories, Facebook posts, Twitter video, the Digital Marketing space and more. You will be highly creative, pro-active and be able to communicate using excellent creative language.

You have experience of video editing and creative suite products (such as Adobe Premiere), and are passionate about game capture, using your skillets to produce high quality assets in line with creative briefs. Not only will you be collaborating within the Video team to develop ideas, but also across the wider Creative Services team to integrate correct branding, illustrations, and artwork into your videos.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Effectively utilising products within the adobe creative suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) to create video assets
  • With guidance, capturing in-game assets across several game engines including RuneScape, Old School, Unity and Unreal Engine 4 & 5
  • Contributing creative ideas across all channels, with a focus on Product and Digital marketing initiatives within in team ideation sessions
  • Collaborating with the wider Creative Services team on best practice for capture, editing, and implementing brand elements
  • Logging footage and generating assembly sequences for Senior Video Editors
  • Creating cut-downs, re-sizes, and localized versions of existing video assets
  • Working on location at film shoots with the Video Production Lead and capture team as and when required
  • Developing and maintaining working procedures with other internal teams, to schedule and deliver projects as required by key stakeholders
  • Representing the Creative Services team within the wider Publishing group
What We're Looking For:
  • A fantastic showreel or portfolio of work you have undertaken, highlighting your talents from creative conception to execution and production, with relevant examples of how your knowledge has or can be applied to the gaming industry
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Suite, including Premiere and Photoshop (After Effects desirable but not required)
  • Good knowledge of video editing terminology, workflows, and best practices.
  • An understanding of game capture processes
