Are you an experienced Character Artist who wants to express their creativity and create characters on one of the industry’s largest and most successful MMOs?

As a Character Artist on Old School RuneScape, you’ll create a variety of character assets including awesome armour sets, oversized ogre sumo suits, fantastical mechanical inventions and weapons and so much more

This is a hugely creative role within our art team and one that has an immensely positive impact for the communities of players we have all over the world as they get to admire your work and use it and bring these beloved characters to life in-game

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Create, develop, and refine high quality 3D character assets ranging across creatures, humans and weapons.
- Work closely with Concept Artists and Animators to ensure models are designed and optimized to meet the style for PC and Mobile platforms.
- Work closely with Content Developers to ensure assets are correctly implemented in the game engine.
- Work with Tools Developers to troubleshoot and improve existing in-house tools
- Provide feedback to artists in the team in group reviews and more junior members of the team in day-to-day production
- Ensure game ready assets conform to the house style and are maintained through all projects within your own and colleagues work, via feedback.
- Supporting Designers, Animators and QA to release high quality assets whilst being mindful of our release schedule.
- Collaborating with the rest of the team to aid with future art asset and project ideas.
- Working closely with the rest of the Art manager and Concept Artists to maintain and develop the games visual style.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience as a 3D character artist in the games industry.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills in the creation of character asset work.
- Thorough knowledge of end-to-end character workflows.
- Comfortable participating in and contributing to group review and critique sessions.
- Effective time management, task prioritization.
- Ability to work to deadlines with accurate work planning skills.
- Clear, professional interaction; communicate clearly, and concisely to team, peers, and management.
- Enthusiastic about working on retro games and MMOs.
