Location: The role will be based at our London office, Carmelite House, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.
Manage the day-to-day running of the Enid Blyton publishing programme as a senior editor at Hachette Children's Group.

What you'll be doing
Manage the day-to-day running of the Enid Blyton publishing programmeProject manage young fiction seriesInput new ideas into creative meetingsCommission authors, edit manuscripts, input into illustration briefs, check illustrations and layoutsWork with the Assistant Editor to compile Enid Blyton story collectionsWrite TIs, cover copy, marketing copy as requiredManage schedules, liaising with design and productionOversee sensitivity updatesDraft acquisitions documents, including costingsWrite cover briefsDraft contractsLiaise with marketing, rights and publicity teams Who we are looking forSenior Editor with strong editorial and project-management skillsVersatile and flexibleAble to build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong advocateExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCreative thinkerMeticulous and organisedEnthusiastic learner What we offerOur staff are our greatest asset, and our benefits reflect this:
