At Tiphereth we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Day Service Co-Worker in our Compost, Firewood and Milled Wood Social Enterprise.

Tiphereth is a Camphill community in Edinburgh offering supported accommodation, social enterprises and day services for adults with learning disabilities and other support needs.

The post is based in the Day Service group that is part of a social enterprise involving producing and delivering compost and firewood including a new venture in Milling wood for use in furniture making and other applications. The group also collects the green waste from the local area weekly. Together with our members with support needs we aim to support work within our own community as well as in the wider Colinton area community.

You will provide support and motivation to people with learning disabilities and other support needs to participate in meaningful work within the group. You will be enthusiastic and positive about the potential of people to participate, learn and grow. You will bring experience of support work and outdoor work. You need to work well as part of a team, have good communication skills and be motivated by Camphill's values and ethos.
