We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Team Member. Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide friendly and thoughtful service to customers, responding to queries and championing Co-op products and Membership.
- Teamwork: Work together with colleagues to solve problems for customers and members, and support the store team to achieve sales targets.
- Store Standards: Maintain a high level of store standards, including keeping shelves stocked, ensuring prices, dates, and temperatures are accurate, and adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Co-op products and services, and be able to communicate this effectively to customers.
- Community Engagement: Get involved in local community activities and events, and support the store team to build relationships with local customers and members.
- Competitive Pay: £16.00 per hour, including night shift premium.
- Flexible Working: 22.5 hours per week, with regular overtime opportunities.
- Training and Development: Full, paid training and dedicated support for your personal development and career progression.
- Benefits: 30% discount on all Co-op products, a pension scheme with up to 10% employer contributions, and access to virtual healthcare services for you and your family.
- Age: 18 or over.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: A positive approach to change and problem-solving, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.
- Flexibility: The flexibility to work a range of different shifts, including nights and weekends.
