Glasgow Life is looking for 6 of Assistant Cluster Managers to join us on a 35 hrs full time, permanent contract.

As an Assistant Cluster Manager you will be joining our in-demand Sports Team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports our Sports delivery across Glasgow.

The Role as an Assistant Cluster Manager you will:
- Assist the Area / General Manager to manage the facilities within the area/venue, monitor and direct all aspects of the operational management of the facilities and staff within your cluster.
- Assist in ensuring that all performance, budgets and financial targets set within the sphere of operation of this post are met and ensure that appropriate monitoring and reporting mechanisms are in place and operating effectively.
- Assist the Area / General Manager to ensure that the workforce within the cluster is scheduled efficiently and effectively.
- Ensuring that all relevant procedures, policies, legislation and industry codes of practice are implemented and ensuring systems are in place to test this.
- Work with colleagues across the areas to ensure engagement with the integrated local planning process and ensuring facilities address local needs.
- Ensuring that the duties and responsibilities as defined in our Health and Safety policies and procedures are implemented across the service

To be successful in this role you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of managerial/supervisory role within a busy leisure service.
- Experience of leading and motivating a team of staff providing high profile public services.
- Evidence of operating services in a commercial context and managing budgets and exacting financial targets.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Providing excellent customer care, forward thinker, understands customer needs and expectations.
- A flexible approach to working hours is required including working at weekends and evenings.
- Analytical and positive approach to problem solving and change

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations. This role may require you to work weekends.
