The Role

We're looking for a senior product manager who will lead the implementation of new efforts, the evolution and maintenance of existing services, and collaborate with other cross-functional teams within our organisation.

As the Senior Product Manager responsible for Retention & Billing, you will report to the Senior Director of Product for Subscriptions & Memberships, and work alongside other product managers within the subscriptions and memberships group, as well as the engineering and design leads. You will manage a distributed team of engineers. The Retention & Billing related tools are some of Conde Nast's foundational platforms, encompassing some of the most vital focus areas for the consumer revenue organisation.

What will you be doing

Own the product strategy and vision for all Retention & Billing efforts. Extend Condé Nast's capabilities to support new payment types, improved billing management and successful revenue recovery optimizations. Improve our subscriptions & memberships purchase flows by providing users with their preferred ways to pay for our products. Ensure successful subscriber retention customer care platform integrations & automations, self-service features, win-back campaigns and more. Work closely with the rest of the subscriptions and memberships teams to ensure a unison between the end-user experiences and the platforms that empower them. Form and maintain relationships and integrations with multiple payment providers and other third-party vendors. Work closely with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing and other cross-functional teams. Apply a data driven and experimentation framework as a constantly iterative process. Who you are:

Strong product management experience in an professional setting Experience of working with payment providers, billing management systems and customer care platforms within the recurring subscriptions & memberships space Previous experience with Stripe, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and/or other similar payment processors Previous experience with ChargeBee, and/or other similar billing and subscription management platforms Experience with tax processing integrations and understanding of US sales tax compliance is preferred. Experience using e-commerce platforms and their end-to-end purchase/checkout flows. Strong understanding of the recurring revenue business model and its related compliances and processes. Experience working with engineering and design teams using agile or similar techniques Degree educated or equivalent
