An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the branches Internal Sales team. The role will reqiure excellent knowledge of building materials, their pricing, and the margin management aspect of the sales process. For this reason, our client are looking for someone who is experienced within the Builders Merchant industry and who has been working within a Sales team.

The role:

Finding out the customers requirements for their project and aiding them through the sales process by providing advice on the best products and giving exceptional customer service througout.
- Cross basket sellling to ensure that the company are getting all of the customers business.
- Managing Margin to ensure that the best possible sale is achieved.
- Liaising with the transport team and customers to ensure that they are kept informed with any changes to their order or delays in deliveries.
- Contacting regular spending customers to ensure that you are informed of their current and upcoming jobs and can assist them with their building supplies needs.
- Contacting lapsed accounts and low spending accounts to see if you can entice the customers back to the business or increase their spend.
- Adhere to company policies and company best practice.
