Legacy Engagement Lead

We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to our join our team as Legacy Engagement Lead. This role will rely on using direct marketing and relationship building to increase acquisition and retention developing a legacy engagement programme for both external and internal audiences.

You will have experience and knowledge of direct marketing and ideally an understanding of the differences in audience needs for legacy marketing versus general fundraising, as well as having substantial experience of using data and supporter insight along with relationship building to improve performance and stewardship.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Stewardship & Retention

  • To support in the development and implementation of the strategy for legacy pledger retention and stewardship and in-memory attrition.
  • Report and evaluate the effectiveness of retention and stewardship activities and campaigns against objectives, targets & strategic KPIs, ensuring that key learnings are used to inform future development activity.
  • Create and develop robust supporter stewardship journeys across the different stages of the legacy pipeline ensuring alignment with the legacy strategy and other cross engagement directorate activities.
  • To oversee the successful management of any potential legacy events, personally attending all events and delivering a high level of stewardship to all our legacy pledgers.

    Acquisition & Engagement
    • Drive forward the legacy acquisition programme, planning our legacy engagement moments through longer campaigns and key activities.
    • Proactively evaluating the acquisition campaign and adapting the campaign strategy and KPI's accordingly
    • Manage agency relationship for legacy engagement campaigns and activity.
    • To manage relationship with free wills provider and ensure free wills service is on track for all legacy KPIs.
    • To project manage and write engaging copy for a range of engagement activity including direct mail and digital, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and to budget.
