Arts University Plymouth are currently seeking to appoint an Admissions Officer, a key role within our institution that will help deliver an effective student admissions service for all levels of study, supporting applicants on their journey to studying at a specialist arts university.

This role will be responsible for delivering the application processes, policies and procedures for our pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes for home and international students and will be a key point of contact for all admissions enquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines whilst handling multiple projects. Experience of processing applications utilising a student record processing system (i.e. UnitE) and knowledge of CRM systems would be advantageous.

The role holder will process the applications for Pre Degree, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level programmes utilising the University systems, arranging portfolio reviews and interviews as required. They will act as a representative of the University, supporting recruitment events and providing excellent levels of customer service to ensure enquirers and applicants are supported throughout the student journey.

You may have worked in roles that use systems to manage a customer journey e.g. housing, recruitment, travel and tourism, that provide a service to customers. A successful candidate would have excellent customer service skills, managing longer term customer relationships, and with an ability to ensure processes are followed efficiently and accurately.

About The Role:

● Manage admissions enquiries for all levels of study at Arts University Plymouth, providing comprehensive and timely information by telephone, email and letter.

● Process all applications from UK, EU and International applicants in accordance with the Admissions policy, admissions processes and entry requirements. This includes checking qualifications, fee assessing, booking interviews/arranging portfolio reviews and making offers.

● Support the recruitment team as the main admissions point of contact at recruitment events such as Open Days and support academic teams with admissions processes.
