Repairs and Investment are currently looking to recruit qualified Drainage Technicians to join our busy repairs delivery service. Based at the Birchmere Centre.

The role will include the following:

We are looking for someone with the relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ equivalent and/or extensive experience. A full driving licence is required, 7.5 ton is preferred. You will be a confident individual who has the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. Able to trace blockages in tenanted properties and clear external drain runs when required. Be able to replace waste pipe and all associated fittings, working in unison with the plumbing team. It would be an advantage if you are able to carry out CCTV surveys. The role can involve some heavy lifting and external digging works, therefor candidates will need to be physically fit. A uniform and all necessary person protective equipment will be provided.

Vehicle is supplied once probationary period of 6 months is passed. Solely used for Council Business only and a charge will apply based on home location.
