About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Drainage Technician to join our team at City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing and drainage systems across the ASDA estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of sanitaryware, general plumbing, and drainage systems
  • Conducting regular preventative maintenance (PPM) on foul drainage and surface water systems
  • Locating and clearing debris and grease trapped in the drainage system
  • Jetting and clearing downpipes and gulleys at stores, car parks, and delivery yards
  • Cleaning and debris removal from gutters, drainpipes, and gulleys internally and externally
  • Providing recommendations for suitable replacement equipment where necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with company Health and Safety Policy and environmental byelaws
  • Completing mandatory online training modules to maintain current knowledge

Requirements

  • Prior experience in plumbing or drainage is essential
  • Hold a relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating systems/Drainage or a time-served apprenticeship with City and Guilds qualification in Plumbing or Drainage
  • Desirable skills include working in confined spaces and water jetting
