Role Overview

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at ERSG Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of highway and drainage systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with UK regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of UK highway and drainage design principles, including flood risk assessments.
  • Standards Compliance: Familiarity with relevant UK design codes and guidelines, such as the Manual for Streets and the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
  • Project Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading the development of highway and drainage engineering projects, particularly in delivering Section 38 and 278 highway designs and S104 drainage designs.
  • Technical Drawings: Proven ability to produce detailed technical drawings for various stages including planning, tendering, and construction.
  • Software Proficiency: Competent in using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, with strong numerical skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of legal, planning, and technical consent processes related to highway and drainage design in new developments.
  • Team Management: Ability to take a leading role on significant projects, managing and prioritizing the workload of a team of engineers and technicians.
