Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV Drainage Engineer to join our client's growing drainage team at Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining drainage systems using HGV Class 2 Combi Units / Recyclers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on the mains sewer network.
  • Work as a two-person team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Operate HGV Class 2 Combi Units / Recyclers to maintain drainage systems.

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) are mandatory.
  • Previous experience of driving and operating combi units is highly desirable.
  • Ability to undertake physical work associated with maintaining the drainage network.
  • Desirable qualifications include Streetworks, HPWJ (High-Pressure Water Jetting), Confined Space, and First Aid.

Working Hours and Compensation

  • Monday to Friday working hours are from 6am to 4pm.
  • Overtime is compensated at time and a half.
  • Hourly rate: £50 to £18 per hour, depending on experience.

Contract Type

  • This is initially a temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
