Job Title: Drainage Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Technician to join our team at the Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a Drainage Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining drainage systems, including clearing blockages and replacing waste pipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain drainage systems, including clearing blockages and replacing waste pipes
  • Work with the plumbing team to ensure efficient and effective drainage services
  • Conduct CCTV surveys to identify and diagnose drainage issues
  • Perform heavy lifting and external digging works as required
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds, NVQ equivalent, or extensive experience in drainage maintenance
  • Full driving licence, with 7.5 ton preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and external digging works
