Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Technician to join our team at Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a key member of our repairs delivery service, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining drainage systems in our area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain drainage systems, including pipes and fittings
  • Investigate and clear blockages in tenanted properties and external drain runs
  • Work with the plumbing team to replace waste pipes and associated fittings
  • Perform CCTV surveys to identify issues with drainage systems
  • Participate in heavy lifting and external digging works, requiring physical fitness

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds, NVQ equivalent, or extensive experience in drainage maintenance
  • Full driving licence, with 7.5 ton preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Confident and able to trace blockages and clear external drain runs
