Overview:

Warehouse workers perform an array of functions that might include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Workers are required to lift heavy boxes, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes. Some warehouse workers will have to operate forklifts on some occasions. All of the above contributes towards supplying the customer with a 100% service level.

Role and Responsibilities/Freeze Storage:

Unload raw materials from truck, update stock systems. Move raw materials to warehouse storageEnsure Goods inwards documents are completed and filed correctly for every intakeReceive and process warehouse/cold storage stock products (unload, pick, label, & store)Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label & load)Maintain a pick accuracy of 99.98%Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisationFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations set by the companyResponsible for quality control. Report damaged products & damaged raw material to Department Co-OrdinatorStage finished product for loading. Load finished product onto truckEnsure all stock product is counted, checked and recorded on internal stock control systemEnsure accurate recording and labelling for all finished product receivedSecurity and rotation for all finished goods stockMaintain efficient warehousing systems including a clean, well maintained area at all timesLoad, move, stack, and stage finished goods using different types of MHEKeep equipment clean & operational by following operating instructions & reporting breakdowns.Carrying out all other general warehouse duties A ny other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management team.
