The focus of this role is to create and analyse the pricing and bid strategy and prepare the cost models for future bids and tenders globally.

Key duties:

Create, develop, and implement suitable commercial models, pricing structures, and incentive schemes for new bids, proposals, and tenders.Ensure Bid Evaluation Reports are prepared and submitted promptly, adhering to company and legal procedures.Support investment opportunities by facilitating and analyzing business case preparations.Evaluate material and labour costs to ensure accurate costing for new equipment builds.Review client tender documents, recommend any commercial exceptions and pricing notes, and identify, quantify, or mitigate commercial and contractual risks.Review and manage proposed changes to existing contract rates, pricing structures, and commercial terms as needed.Assist with client commercial negotiations and post-bid submission clarifications.Coordinate with Tax, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to ensure the accuracy of costs reported in Bid Evaluation Reports at the time of bid submission.Investigate and report on the financial reliability of new clients.Collaborate with Group and regional Finance departments as necessary.

Candidates will ideally have experience of working within commercial/tendering roles ideally from the energy sector. Whilst having strong commercial acumen, candidates must also ideally have experience with financial statements and accounting principles.
