The Opportunity

The Senior FP&A Analyst is primarily responsible for analysing financial and operational results at the Group level to better understand overall company performance. This will require interactions with Business Unit leads, handling large amounts of data and being able to dig behind the numbers to tell the story and provide value adding financial information and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Working with the Business Unit Heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts, consolidating them into one overall budget Work closely with Regional Business units to collate and analyse monthly information packs Work closely with the Senior Finance Team and Senior Management to deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s Assist with detailed analysis and commentary on Business Unit results Liaising with Senior Management to prepare the business’s financial and strategic plans Comparing and evaluating previous budgets, forecasts and prior year results, and performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements Ad-hoc reporting: preparation of financial information as may be required by Senior Management and Stakeholders IT systems: identity opportunities to streamline and develop financial and other reporting systems across the group

Background and Experience

Background of financial management in dynamic, international, services focused business Technically strong but well-grounded in delivering practical solutions Experience within an FP&A or operational finance position is vital An energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys making a difference Able to interpret data and draw conclusions, not just compile numbers Advanced excel skills are essential Experience of PowerBI would be advantageous A recognised financial qualification, not essential if you have the requisite experience Clear interpretation of business performance and associated actions Ability to work in a fast paced, acquisitive environment Team player Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with stakeholders across the business
