Title and Summary
Director - Product Management - SME New Channels Europe
Please note - This role is being offered as a 1 year Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.
Overview
- Build a clearly articulated strategy to drive incremental business with new channel partners serving SMEs (ISVs, trade / logistics, CPGs, others)
- Act as a business owner and manage long-term and short-term strategic initiatives with identified channel partners for the SME segment
- Work in partnership with other product teams to identify relevant use cases for increased collaboration, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within their product's life cycle.
- Grow revenue from those channel partners by driving an intentional and proactive approach with the local teams and with existing and new clients.
Responsibilities
• Drive tangible business outcomes for the SME Segment with new channel partners, continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators and grow revenue.
• Demonstrate depth of knowledge of their activities and value proposition for SMEs and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment). Apply this knowledge to the development of winning approaches and strategies.
• Demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering and the ability to leverage Products from other business areas to augment Product capabilities
• Ensure that the broader Mastercard organization is enabled to engage with those channel partners by creating compelling communications & marketing content in partnership with the SME commercialization team.

• Extensive experience engaging with new partners, understanding their needs and how Mastercard is legitimate to support.
• Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product teams across the organization
• Successful track record strategically managing P&L for multiple projects and products
