A client of ours in the Haverhill area are recruiting a Sales Administrator / Inside Sales Exec to join their team. This is a full-time permanent office-based position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (37.5 hours) and paying 25, ,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provision of administrative support to the sales team with the production of customer quotations, sales order processing and other general sales administration task.
  • Opportunity vetting with current and potential new customers in support of the sales team.
  • Account management of smaller value sales opportunities.
  • Account management of smaller value customer accounts.
  • Lead generation in support of the sales team for the full range of company products and service offerings.
  • Supporting the Marketing manager in customer campaigns, trade shows, etc.
  • Liaising with other departments, office support, purchasing and technical services.
  • All activity will be managed via CRM. This includes the management of your sales pipeline (leads and opportunities), customer/prospect interaction, customer quotes, and Marketing activity.
  • Participation in the development of the sales annual targets and business objectives.
  • Assist with the creation of sales proposals and responses to client RFPs and Tenders, promoting business solutions through customer meetings, conferences, exhibitions, webinars, and client engagement days.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Sales Administrator / Internal Sales Exec position:

  • A minimum of 3 years' internal sales administration experience is essential, ideally in the IT services or Retail sectors.
  • Evidence of continuous learning and career progression in career to-date.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Competent user of MS Office including PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management packages.
  • Numerate able to work with and interpret numerical data.
  • Ability to work independently, able to set own priorities day to day and manage own time effectively.
  • Admin and secretarial skills such as effective communicator, able to produce high quality business English documentation, confident telephone/video communicator.
  • Detail conscious with the ability to proofread detailed sales documentation.
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
