The Role - Finance Assistant

This is an exciting position working as part of the Accounts Receivable Team, you will be integral in supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager, ensuring all tasks are completed timely and accurately. This includes daily reporting of financial figures and assessing the creditworthiness of existing and new customers. You must be able to work to strict deadlines while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work:
Customer creditworthiness assessmentsCustomer debt recoveryPeriod end journal postingsPeriod end reportingBalance sheet reconciliationsEnsure that internal controls are compiled timely and fully documentedAssisting external auditors with year-end requirementsAny other duties within the post holder's competence as requested
What We're Looking For - Finance Assistant role:
Experience working in an office environmentGood level of IT literacyGood time management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks, and work well under pressureExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Although not essential, experience with sales ledger (accounts receivable) and/or working knowledge of SAP / S4 HANA, would be advantageous.

As the Finance Assistant you will be employed on a permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Swinton office in Greater Manchester. You will benefit from:
