Credit Controller

**Reporting into the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include**:
- Negotiating payment terms and assessing credit risk
- Managing cash book with accurate receipt allocation and allocating cash to the sales ledger
- Bank reconciliation and processing of sales invoices
- Creation of new customer accounts using in-house accounting software
- Processing customer refunds and account reconciliations
- Managing invoicing platforms - self billing, consignment stock etc
- Putting accounts on stop when required
- Assisting with some external reporting
**To be successful in this Credit Control role, individuals will ideally**:
- Be able to work towards targets and deadlines whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail
- Have strong IT skills and will be comfortable with Excel and will be able to pick up new functions quickly
- Be enthusiastic, confident and hands on in approach
- Be able to work in a fast paced, ever changed environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
