The role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Ecommerce Content Strategy Manager to lead and oversee the content strategy for our multiple e-commerce sites across various regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and content management. Key Responsibilities:

Your duties as the Global ECommerce Content Manager include:

Content Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global content strategy aligned with Brompton's brand, marketing goals, and regional marketing needs.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform content planning and strategy.

Content Management:

  • Oversee the creation, curation, localisation, and management of high-quality content for multiple e-commerce sites.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all digital channels.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of content creators and foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting professional development and growth.

Regional Coordination:

  • Work closely with regional teams to tailor content strategies to specific markets, ensuring relevance and cultural appropriateness.
  • Coordinate with regional marketing and sales teams to align content with local campaigns and promotions.

Performance Optimisation:

  • Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic.
  • A/B test content variations to optimise user engagement and conversion rates.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and IT, to support integrated marketing campaigns and product launches.


Job requirements - Global ECommerce Content Manager

Who you are:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience in e-commerce content strategy, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of managing content for multiple websites across different regions.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

  • 9 Day Fortnight – This is a flexible working pattern which individuals can opt in for where an employee works their contractual hours across 9 days instead of 10 days.
