We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back to life. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA RECEPTIONIST AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY

What you'll be doing...

When you enter our hotel you will be "wowed" and we aspire for our guests to be bowled over too in their initial connection with our building and our Heartists. Our Heartists are our team, the heart of the hotel, who strive to make meaning in every moment from check in to departure. We have passion for interacting with people upon check in and beyond, learning what makes them tick and providing surprise and delight Municipal memorable moments. This role has flexible hours and days available.

Reporting to the Spa Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

To welcome our guests, providing care, warmth and efficiency in every guest connection. Stop the clock and allow guests to begin their timeless Spa memory. Put them at ease with your exceptional presentation skills, professionalism and efficiency.
You will be expected to maintain superior levels of hygiene, cleanliness, tidiness and complete Health and Safety checks throughout the spa.
Anticipating guest needs by being fully aware of arrivals, departures and monitoring traces. Experience of Spa or Hotel Reservations systems is highly desirable.
Demonstrating excellent presentation skills and attention to detail shown in all client interactions from telephone calls to payments.
Display a positive can-do attitude and the passion to stand out and be proud of our hotel and MGallery brand during tours and always delivering 5 Star Service.
To take pride and ownership in the opening and closing procedures of our Spa and Leisure complex
To exude a passion for providing excellence in service and excelling as a team in upselling promotions, vouchers, retail and treatments.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
Previous experience working within customer service, reception, spa/leisure facility is preferred.
Previous experience working in a pool plant room is preferred.

Other duties include;

To work positively and collaboratively with all departments and our Heartists keeping the guest experience as our central focus.
