We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join an esteemed Healthcare Team as a Level 5 Health and Social Care Trainer, in a hybrid-based role that offers flexibility and security. Join an award winning team with an OFSTED grade 2 and a passion for making a difference. As a Level 5 Health and Social Care Trainer, you will:
  • Inspire and Educate: Deliver comprehensive training up to Level 5 Leader in Adult Care, shaping the future leaders of the healthcare industry.
  • Manage and Mentor: Oversee a minimum caseload of 45 learners, providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to excel.
  • Flexibility: Enjoy the perfect blend of remote work with the opportunity for face-to-face engagement during progress reviews and personalized tutoring sessions in your designated region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding a caseload of learners towards achieving their apprenticeships or qualifications, including Diplomas through to Gateway and successful End Point Assessment
  • Regularly assessing work and offering constructive feedback, including attention to spelling, punctuation, and grammar, while updating the E-Portfolio system (Aptem)
  • Identifying and assisting learners with additional learning needs, utilising the neurodiversity platform Cognassist for support
  • Ensuring the promotion and continual monitoring of safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout all aspects of the job role
Experience and skills
  • Hold a teaching or assessing qualification such as AET, CAVA, TAQA, PTLLS or equivalent.
  • Occupational competent in the health and social care industry.
  • Relevant qualification up to level 5 in health and social care.
  • Experience delivering apprenticeships.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage high caseloads
