About the business 🚀


This consultancy set up their UCD practice 18 months ago with the help of 2 key leaders in the Service Design space (you might know who they are already) and it's safe to say they've been smashing it


Winning and retaining multiple new projects primarily in the public sector but also branching out into the private sector they're looking to grow their team with more Service Designers and User Researchers.


G.Digital has supported the growth of this team with 6 team members over the last 18 months who are all still there now and LOVING it.



About the role 👩‍💻🧑‍💻

As a Senior User Researcher you’ll be working on any number of projects, typically in the public sector including places like:

  • NHS Digital
  • MOJ
  • DWP


You’ll be part of an agile team of software engineers, designers, Service Designers, product managers, and other stakeholders and help the project team build a coherent service.


You’ll decide which User Research activities are appropriate for the project


On government projects, they use the GDS Service Standard as their north star, but you are skilled enough to know how to improve on the standard.



What you need 😎

  • Strong background in delivering User Research
  • Government GDS experience is ideal
  • Experience coaching and mentoring
  • Be commutable from Leeds for socials and collaboration days
  • Able to identity and pursue new opportunities with existing and new clients
