About Us:

Tellmi is an innovative, award-winning digital mental health service which provides a safe, anonymous space for anyone aged 11 and over to discuss mental health topics like anxiety, relationships, and more. Combining peer support with professional oversight, we help users build emotional resilience and foster meaningful connections.

Our evidence-based platform has been shown to reduce loneliness and build confidence. Studies by University College London and the Anna Freud Centre found that 79% of users feel less alone and 71% found new ways to help themselves. Tellmi’s mission is to make mental health support accessible and empowering for all.

Tellmi’s mission is to ensure that mental health support is accessible, empowering, and effective. Through our partnerships with schools, universities, the NHS, and other youth service providers, we are creating a supportive community that makes a lasting social impact.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for building relationships, driving engagement, and ensuring high-impact delivery of our platform.

This role involves regular travel and direct interaction with commissioners and potential users (mainly young people), including leading workshops and outreach activities to promote Tellmi’s mental health services.

  • Build Relationships: Strengthen partnerships with commissioners, healthcare and education organisations, addressing needs and exploring new opportunities.
  • Onboard New Stakeholders: Introduce Tellmi to new stakeholders, helping expand our reach and impact.
  • Campaign Delivery: Lead and improve engagement campaigns for stakeholders and users.
  • Support Renewals: Work with commissioners to report on progress, prepare business cases and secure contract renewals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Regularly report performance to commissioners, gather user and client feedback, and improve services.

What does success look like in 12 months

  • Significant and measurable increase in users of the Tellmi app and services, across designated accounts
  • Our commissioners and customers are delighted by our services
  • Trusted relationship formed with key stakeholders in NHS and Education bodies
  • Positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues at Tellmi
  • Confident and able to support and add value across the business and other customers.
  • To be experienced, enthusiastic, and ready to take on new and larger accounts as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Purpose-Driven: You are passionate about improving mental health, especially for young people.
  • Relationship Builder: You excel in creating authentic relationships and communicating effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proactive & Ambitious: You are self-motivated, take ownership of your work, and are eager to learn.
  • Team Player: You work well both independently and as part of a team, managing your time efficiently.
  • Confident & Personable: You can engage with diverse audiences, from young people to senior leaders.

Desired Experience:

  • At least two years in the health or education sector, ideally with NHS or local authority services.
  • Experience in mental health, peer support, or youth services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GSuite tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.) is beneficial.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £30k - £40k
  • Flexible working hours to fit your lifestyle.
  • Direct impact on improving mental health especially for young people.
  • Work with a passionate, creative, and ambitious team, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Training in mental health, peer support, and safeguarding.
  • Extra well-being days in addition to your holiday allowance.
  • Gain valuable experience in a growing social enterprise at the intersection of tech and mental health.

Why Tellmi?

Tellmi isn’t just another job. It’s a chance to be part of a company that’s dedicated to improving the lives of young people and making mental health support more accessible and impactful. By joining our team, you’ll be at the forefront of changing the landscape of youth mental health and helping to shape a more resilient future for young people across the UK.

Tellmi is committed to the safeguarding of unborn babies, children, families and adults. We aim to both protect users from harm and ensure that their right to confidentiality is properly upheld, in keeping with the law and good practice guidance. This role will involve obtaining an enhanced DBS check.
