Job Description


We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Change Lead to add genuine business value. The successful individual will be tasked with managing and coordinating the successful completion of projects within agreed timelines and regulatory governance in support of the Operations Department’s achievement of objectives, forming part of the overall Programme of work defined by the Executive.


We are seeking someone who has knowledge of business transformation and continuous improvement from a digital background.


What will my role entail?

  • Lead operational change impact analysis, planning, and post-go-live assessments.
  • Support enterprise-level change, providing insights and challenging assumptions as needed.
  • Coordinate Operations teams to ensure project goals are met within set timelines and budgets.
  • Identify and implement vital operational activities for project success, including training and partner communication.
  • Conduct research, investigation, and analysis for specific projects, presenting findings to Operations Management.
  • Complete reports for Operations and Programme Management, offering conclusions and recommendations.
  • Document and communicate Operations-impacting changes, capturing future changes proactively.
  • Support business readiness and deployment into Operations, aligning with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
  • Assist senior management in tracking capability drops, completing governance, and coaching leaders in change management.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of communications and engagement activities relevant to change initiatives.
  • Implement change considering colleagues, customers, and digital platforms, aiming to improve business performance.
  • Identify change opportunities by reviewing data insights and engaging with business experts.
  • Close liaison with Operations Management, ensuring understanding of up-to-date performance/issues.
  • Ensure all projects/incidents are put through the governance checks and the correct governance is followed including all reporting.


Qualifications

  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in business change and continuous improvement from a digital background
  • An understanding of change methodology
  • Strongly results-oriented and focused on pragmatically getting to outcomes - comfortable digging in and troubleshooting as needed
  • A good awareness of current business systems including Teams, Jira, Confluence, Miro & Slack
  • Willing to challenge business / commercial logic
  • Strong partner influencing skills to gain consensus and confidence from business leaders
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
  • Ability to challenge and remain resilient when being challenged
  • Ability to plan, implement and deliver business objectives using creative solutions
