Business Development Manager (Maintenance)

Salary - £65k OTE

Location: North West

As part of an established sales team, the Business Development Manager (Maintenance) will focus on generating and securing maintenance contracts for Fire Detection, Suppression, Access Control, CCTV, Sprinklers, and related small electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Generate maintenance opportunities by surveying, quoting, and securing maintenance sales in the fire and security sector.
  • Develop new clients while enhancing relationships with existing clients and key accounts to build resilience across diverse sectors.
  • Ensure maintenance quotations and proposals are technically accurate, competitively priced, and commercially attractive.
  • Secure orders and achieve target sales volumes and margins by winning new business and maintaining high-value accounts.
  • Maintain regular contact with potential clients to identify business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct on-site surveys to collect asset and site information, preparing accurate and competitive maintenance quotations.

Competencies:

  • Ideally completed FIA (or equivalent) training on fire detection and alarm systems.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry within customer-facing or technical roles.
