Proposals Coordinator - Construction

Southampton

To £45k


Overview:

Reports to, and works alongside the Bid Manager, providing leadership and support in the production of proposals and bids.

Is proficient in IT, in particular MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop.

Demonstrates excellent verbal, written and numerical skills


Proposals:

Fully produces pre-qualification submissions.

Receives bids, fully understands the requirements and deliverables.

Prepares and holds question reviews with the team, identifies USPs with the team.

Bid writes for each bid.

Edits bit information from the team.

Produces full proposal documents including graphics.

Takes responsibility for the successful completion and submission of all pre-qualification questionnaires and bids.


Business development:

Manages planning/opportunities/pre-qualification questionnaires (including the creating and storing of information on SSC and document management system(s)

Research clients and consultants for the team.

Contacts client consultants as required.

Organises functions and events.

Manages pipeline via SSC system.

Prepares and produces presentation documentation for meetings as required.

Oversees opportunity tracking for the Bid Manager.


Marketing:

Liaises with and visits the projects to ensure PR opportunities are maximised.

Liaises with the PR company regarding publicity.

Press releases – creates forms and collates information required.

Supports sites with any PR or marketing events.

Plans and organises photography as required.

Collects information on new and ongoing projects for project profiles and produces case studies as required.

Oversees site branding to ensure standards are maintained.

Produces documents for issue as required


Database:

Establishes and controls the proposals database.

Liaises with and visits other offices to gain a full understanding of the business for proposal purposes and to inform the region.

Establishes key contacts in each region to assist in the production of proposals.

Provides standard information for submissions.
