The Director of Global Sales UK, is responsible to drive awareness, business results and brand profile for The Doyle Collection, providing support for both brand strategies and objectives ensuring alignment, providing education and seamless connectivity between clients, individual properties and the brand.


The role is responsible for managing a set of assigned accounts within the business consortia segment along with a set of global corporate accounts, implementing strategies to position The Doyle Collection as a preferred luxury partner and define and grow market share in the luxury segment


Within business consortia, seizing opportunities to raise our profile in collaboration Global Hotel Alliance and being an active participant within the TMC working group.

One of the key areas of focus is to develop a robust set of domestic accounts that will benefit all of the properties, positively supporting revenue growth and budget delivery. This role will have responsibility for devising annual activity calendar and define associated budget expenses to deliver results for properties across key market segments and accounts. As we work to expand and a develop a European Sales strategy, positively contribute and support as required.


  • Management of relationships with key global business consortia partners; develop robust strategic & measurable action plans & adopt tactical actions in support of the business requirements of the Hotels. Support with B2B marketing campaigns and activities aligned to budget.
  • Analyse major accounts to determine spend, partnership opportunities and brand engagement. Retain and grow account revenues through increased account penetration and implementation of strategic account principles.
  • Monitor current and future Luxury Travel Agency and Consortia intermediary trends, needs and attitudes including competitor activity to guide targeted solution development and remove barriers to business solution development
  • Establish partnerships aligned to the Brand to increase profile, revenue and sales for each property
  • Be an active member of theGlobal Hotel Alliance working group, on behalf of The Doyle Collection.
  • Co-ordination of the global corporate accounts, developing strategic actions plans, co-ordinating communications with the properties to ensure account penetration, maximising market share and growth in delivery from the accounts.
  • Development of a UK based set of accounts to support the hotels and expand the brand profile within the domestic market. (agency)
  • Provide education and guidance to brand and property sales on specific accounts, account strategies, best practices and recommended sales methodologies. Ensure property operations are in alignment with all luxury GSO standards
  • Maintain complete knowledge of The Doyle Collection brand portfolio, develop complete and thorough knowledge of basic hotel facilities related to numbers of rooms and function space, specifically all logistics and amenities that may interest assigned accounts
  • Devise an annual calendar of trade shows at which The Doyle Collection is represented and co-ordinate participation with the relevant properties. Take ownership and organization of key tradeshows providing effective and timely communication to the participants. Organisation of supporting entertainment, as required and all in line with budget, Measurement of ROI post event.
  • As part of the annual sales planning process, determine and plan roadshow/sales mission dates for co-ordinated property activity into the market as The Doyle Collection for Sales/GM attendance
  • Devise and work in line with annual GSO budget. As part of the budgeting process advise the properties of programme participation fees and marketing activity costs to support the needs to develop the business
  • Produce a monthly report, updating the GMs and DOSM’s on key activities, wins and key actions moving forward.
